MTV dévoile les premiers performers de la nouvelle édition des MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS (VMAs) ! La cérémonie, qui se tiendra le 12 septembre au Prudencial Center (New Jersey), sera diffusée en direct sur MTV et dès le lendemain à 22h.
Nicki Minaj fera un retour triomphal sur la scène des MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS (VMA) en tant que maîtresse de cérémonie.
Pour la deuxième année consécutive, Nicki Minaj reprendra son rôle de maîtresse de cérémonie et en profitera pour surprendre les fans avec une performance en première mondiale de son nouveau single "Last Time I Saw You". L'année dernière, elle avait notamment remporté le prix du "Meilleur clip hip hop" et avait reçu le très convoité "Video Vanguard Award".
Demi Lovato fera aussi son grand retour sur la scène des VMAs à l'occasion de la sortie de son nouvel album REVAMPED, la chanteuse colombienne Karol G, le groupe italien Måneskin qui interprètera en première mondiale son nouveau hit SINGLE et le groupe de K-Pop Stray Kids qui fera ses premiers pas aux VMAs, ont ainsi répondu présents pour faire le show ainsi que Doja Cat, Anitta, Kelsea Ballerini et le groupe K-Pop TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
Mais également la légende du hip-hop Lil Wayne qui fera son grand retour sur la scène des MTV VMAs, 10 ans après sa dernière performance.

Ce prix d'honneur saluera la carrière de cette icône internationale qui continue de battre des records et d'inspirer le public grâce à ses prouesses musicales uniques. Shakira est notamment devenue cette année la première chanteuse de tous les temps à entrer dans le Top 10 du Billboard Hot 100 avec un titre en espagnol "BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53", puis à nouveau un mois plus tard avec "TQG".
